Wow.....What a month May has been! 6 weddings in 4 weekends and birthday cakes all in between. I will post all of my birthday cakes asap. This cake has been complimented by so many people who have seen the pictures of Johnny and Shelly's wedding in Lebanon. Shelly was absolutely the sweetest thing Saturday. While I was setting up the cakes, she was giggling and ooowing and awing over every detail.
Shelly had e-mailed me a picture of a cake that she wanted me to do. She picked out an absolutely perfect cake with the most delicate detail work. Each layer had a different design and had the perfect touch of detail. The cake had their initials monogrammed on the anniversary layer and was topped off with the sweetest bridal couple straight from the University of Tennessee Book Store. Mr. & Mrs. UT. Shelly used of course the UT orange as well as fuchsia pink.
Shelly has the eye for the candy! This darling candy table fit the mood of the reception area at the Fiddlers Grove. With the food, cake, the band, and the dance floor....the only thing else that they needed was Johnny's own personalized UT Stadium Grooms cake. Johnny and his groomsmen are all graduates of UT and Shelly and I kept a secret from him for months about having his fraternity number of the entire grooms party on the field below the Power T. Well Shelly....Your Wish Is My Command!
